The serial was directed by C. S. Rao, who had earlier directed many mythological films such as Jai Santoshi Maa (1975), Jai Mahalaxmi Maa (1976), Jai Shakumbhari Maa (2000), etc. The serial was produced by G. A. Sheshagiri Rao, who was also a veteran film producer and director.
